Getting started

How do I add Jory to my server?
Press Add to Discord, pick your server and approve the permissions. Then sign in to the dashboard with the same Discord account.
Why can I not see my server on the dashboard?
You need the Manage Server permission in it, and Jory has to be a member. Add it first, then reload the dashboard.
Where do I begin?
Open Modules and switch on what you need, or just ask Jory what you want done and approve the card.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The dashboard works in any modern browser, and every command works in the Discord app.

The assistant

Will the assistant ever post without asking?
No. Every action waits for someone to press Approve, and you can change or deny it first.
What can I ask it to do?
Posts and embeds, roles and colours, channel changes, clean ups, schedules, events, AutoMod rules and whole server layouts.
What happens when the assistant is busy?
Common changes like deleting messages, locking channels, creating roles and building from a layout still go through from built in answers.
Can I share a chat?
Yes. Each chat can have one read only link that keeps up as you talk. Anyone with it can read along but not type, and you can turn it off any time.

Safety and privacy

Where are my chats stored?
In your browser. You can export or delete them any time in Settings on the dashboard.
Are my chats posted in my server?
Never. Only the changes you approve reach Discord.
Does Jory keep deleted messages?
Yes. Messages in channels Jory can see are kept with their edits and deletions for 90 days, so staff can review them. To keep a channel out of the record, stop Jory from seeing it in Discord.
Who can see the audit log?
Only people who can open your server's dashboard.

Features

Can I undo something I approved?
Posted messages can be edited or deleted from Send and Edit. Schedules, tags and sticky messages can be removed on their own pages. Deleted messages and bans can not be undone, which is why they are shown in red.
How do I stop a scheduled post?
Open Scheduler on the dashboard, find it and switch it off or delete it.
Can members pick their own roles?
Yes, with a role panel of buttons, a menu or reactions.
How do I change my embed colours?
Set a default colour and footer in Bot settings, or pick a colour for one embed in the builder.

Help

The bot looks offline. What do I do?
Open Bot status on the dashboard and press Restart connection. If it stays offline, check that Jory is still in your server.
A command does not show up
Make sure your role is allowed to use it in Command access, and that the channel is not excluded. Discord can take a minute to show new commands.
