Feeds
Post in Discord when a YouTube channel uploads, a Twitch stream starts, or a subreddit, blog, podcast, Bluesky, Mastodon or GitHub repository has something new.
What feeds does
- YouTube and Twitch: New videos, and a ping when a channel goes live.
- Reddit, Bluesky, Mastodon: New posts from the communities and people you follow.
- Any blog or podcast: Paste a site or feed link. Substack, Medium and news sites work too.
- GitHub releases and free games: Release notes the moment they ship, and games free to keep on Steam, Epic and more.
- Rich cards: Each post lands as a card with its title, picture and link, or as plain text.
- Just ask: Tell Jory to post r/gaming in #news and approve the card.
One place for all of them
Follow up to 15 feeds and 10 YouTube channels per server, each to its own channel, with its own message and an optional role ping.
- Never posts the old back catalogue
- Pauses a feed that keeps failing, and says why
- A test button to see it in your channel
Questions
- How fast do posts arrive?
- Jory checks every ten minutes, and Twitch every three, so posts land soon after they go up.
- Will it flood my channel with old posts?
- No. When you follow a feed, Jory only remembers where it is up to, and posts what is new from then on.
- Can it ping a role?
- Yes. Pick a role for each feed and only that role is pinged.
